Telehealth
What is it?
Telehealth is therapy using a secure, HIPPA compliant, online video platform. I currently use SimplePractice for this service.
What is the Cost?
How does it work?
You’ll be sent a link for the video appointment to your email about 10 minutes before each appointment. Click on it when our appointment is scheduled to start or open it through the Telehealth by SimplePractice app (Download it free in the app store. You will need to do this if using a phone or tablet). You can use the camera and audio on your computer or mobile device.
30 minutes - $100
30+ minutes - $135
Intake appointments - $155
Sessions are typically between 30-55 minutes. Some insurances will cover the cost of telehealth. If your insurance does not cover this service the fee would be the responsibility of the client. Please check with your insurance company if you wish to use insurance for this service.
Why Telehealth?
Increased Access: Many individuals live in areas that make it difficult to get to therapy appointments. With Telehealth you can receive therapy services from anywhere. Since I am licensed in the state of WI, I can see clients from anywhere in the state!
Reduced Cost: Telehealth is typically a lower fee than traditional therapy. Not to mention saved money from travel expenses and missed time from work or school.
Less time: Since you can receive therapy services from anywhere when using telehealth, there is no travel time or time spent in a waiting room.
