When you feel like quitting, remember why you started!⭐️ * Sometimes treating and managing anxiety can be really hard. So hard that sometimes you feel like quitting would be easier... but let me tell you, it’s not. * The more you work to improve and manage your anxiety the stronger you get, everyday, with every little win. If we allow our anxiety to control our lives it gets more and more powerful. It’s normal to get tired sometimes, but remember what the long term goal in treating your anxiety is and remember there is no other choice than to continue to fight! * When you feel like quitting try one or all of these things: 1. Involve someone in your support network. Let them know you have been struggling and need some extra help. 2. Think about one small thing in your life that you can change for the better. Maybe it is getting to work on time or making your bed or eating breakfast. The small things really add up! 3. Treat yourself. Treating and managing anxiety is really hard work so don’t forget to reward this hard work every once in a while. 4. Reflect on the progress you have made. Sometimes we forget about the progress we have made because treatment is a slow process, but remember where you were when you finally decided to start fighting back! 5. Remember why you started. Think about the things that motivate your treatment. What do you want your life to look like in 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 months? Maybe you want to be able to walk into a crowded room without feeling like everyone is judging you or you want to be able to fall asleep at night or maybe you want to not second guess every decision you make. Whatever it is, do not lose sight of your goals!⭐️ For more information about anxiety and treating it, check out my book Conquer Anxiety in Ten Weeks: A Guidebook for Overwhelmed Women Who Dare to be Fearless at www.insightcounselingserviceswi.com/book #anxietysucks #anxietyreliever #anxietyrelief #anxietyfree #selfhelp #selfhelpbooks #anxietyproblems #anxietysupport #anxietyrecovery #anxietyawareness #anxiety #rememberwhyyoustarted
